Wild Garlic Mayonnaise
A little about this product
“Marvellous with Most Things!”
This versatile Mayonnaise is made using wild garlic (or “ramson”) leaves, which grow in shady woodlands in early Spring. Ours come from an achingly beautiful spot in Kent.
Wild Garlic has a wonderfully pungent taste – similar, but different to bulb garlic. And because we just use the leaves, they turn this luscious, free-range egg mayonnaise a delicate shade of green!
They also pack it so full of flavour that it really is marvellous with most things:
- Try it with potatoes in a salad
- or in a sandwich with chicken, ham or eggs…
- or just on its own, with a few crudités!
Wild garlic is also said to be very good for you by the way, having the ability to reduce blood pressure, amongst other benefits.
